After 84 years of venture into automotive industries in the world, Nissan has sets to realize the use of fully autonomous ProPILOT technology for real world use in 2020.
We can tell that Nissan is really eager to lead the autonomous vehicle charge from the goal, as the previous report stated that it will only be as soon as 2022 under the new alliance include of Nissan, Mitsubishi and Renault.
The ProPILOT technology which consisting 12 cameras, 9 radar sensors, 6 laser scanners and 12 sonar sensors in ensuring 360∘sending capability. The technology enables the vehicles to operate autonomously on urban roads and freeways once the driver selects a destination using the navigation system.
Nissan has recently tested the fully autonomous driving technology on public road during the Tokyo Motor Show 2017 with a modified Infiniti Q50 Hybrid.
